The Gospel Shop is a family-owned Christian bookstore located in downtown Sugarcreek, Ohio, with roots that go back to 1967. It was founded in the home of David and Erma Stutzman, beginning as a small, faith-driven endeavor built on service, community, and a love for sharing God’s Word.


Over the years, the shop moved locations a couple of times before settling into its current storefront in 1987, where it has remained ever since.


Today, The Gospel Shop continues as a multi-generational family business. What began with the Stutzmans has carried through to the second generation, and now into the third. Linford and Kelly are part of the current generation, with family ties that trace directly back to the original founders — keeping the business truly “in the family.”


For us, this store isn’t just a business — it’s a legacy we’re honored to keep in the family.
